TERMS AND CONDITIONS



1. Terms

These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding contract between MONICO AUSTRALIA HOLDINGS PTY LTD ACN 164 262 944 Trading As DTB Plumbing and you the customer, these terms and conditions  apply to the supply of Goods and the provision of all services from dtb Plumbing. By instructing DTB Plumbing to undertake services or supply goods, you the Customer acknowledges that you have read and agree to these terms.

2. Quotes

dtb Plumbing will provide the customer a quote outlining the work required to fulfil the customer’s instructions and an estimate of charge for the completion of such work. The customer must accept the quote beforeDTB PLUMBING commence any work . All quotes are subject to site inspection - quotes may be altered or withdrawn prior to delivery of goods or provision of services to the customer. Quotes are valid for THIRTY (30) days. In acceptance of the Quote, the Customer warrants that it has not relied on any representation by dtb Plumbing unless supplied in writing 

3. Price for Goods and Services

The price will be stated in writing in dtb Plumbing’s quote, alternatively  if no written quote is provided, dtb Plumbing standard charges apply. Minimum charges apply regarding certain activities min charge of $99.00 inc GST apply for leaking tap repairs. toilet unblock incur min charge of $195.00 inc GST

An additional charge will be made where:1. the Customer alters the specifications after the quote is agreed 2. additional Goods and Services are required to be supplied or performed in order complete the work 3. The customer requires dtb Plumbing to deliver Goods or complete work urgently.4. The customer does not provide reasonable or suitable access to the site where goods and services are to be provisioned

In case where additional charges will be required,dtb Plumbing will endeavour to notify  the customer before supplying the additional Goods or conducting Service. The Customer agrees that in some circumstances dtb Plumbing will not be able to advise the customer of additional charges and therefore the customer agrees to any unforeseen urgent additional charges.

4. Works

The Customer is to ensure customer or the customers representative is on the site throughout the duration dtb Plumbing or its representatives have access to the Site

Intern the customer indemnifies dtb Plumbing from any claims or charges in relation to damage and/or loss of property from the site when Customer or its representative is not present on site.

5. Payment

If a deposit is requested by dtb Plumbing from the customer, dtb Plumbing is under no obligation comment or provide works until the deposit is received in full.

The customer agrees to pay dtb Plumbing the full amount set out in the invoice within the time specified within invoice 

in the case where payment terms are not  specified -  time for payment be is SEVEN (7) days.

If full payment for the Goods or Services is not made on the due date dtb Plumbing may cancel or suspend supply of Goods or Services, charge the customer interest at the rate of 20% per annum calculated on a daily basis

The customer indemnifies dtb Plumbing for losses and all subsequent expenses incurred as a result of the customer’s failure to pay dtb Plumbing.

Ownership of the Goods dtb Plumbing supplies remain with dtb Plumbing until the customer has paid all monies owed to dtb Plumbing, whether the Goods have been fixed to a building or not

If monies owed todtb Plumbing are unpaid the costumer gives dtb Plumbing the right to enter the customers property without notice, to remove any of the related goods for re-sale


6. Warranties

Any warranty as to the goods provided is limited to the written warranty provided by the manufacturer 

Warranty will become null and void if the goods are damaged altered, damaged or used other than in the way the goods were designed to perform.

dtb Plumbing shall not provide warranty on Goods which are  supplied by the customer

plant or tree root growth being present and/or blockages generally indicates damages blocked pipes. In such instances  no warranty is provided in relation to blockages reoccurring in the future.

7. Permits

It is the customers responsibility to make sure that all necessary permits, permissions and authorisations are obtained for work to be conducted on Site.

8. Definitions

In these Terms unless the context otherwise requires the following words have the below meaning/s

dtb Plumbing is MONICO AUSTRALIA HOLDINGS PTY LTD ACN 164 262 944 Trading As dtb Plumbing and any person acting on behalf of dtb Plumbing

“the customer” is the person / business entity named on the invoice or quote provided bydtb Plumbing, or any person acting on behalf of the customer

“site” means the place where dtb Plumbing work is or will be carried out.
